It’s my mission to help change the health trajectory of the next generation.

I always knew I wanted to be a mother, so when I had been with my then boyfriend (now husband, Steve) for 7 years, I got sick of waiting for a ring and we decided to try to conceive!

I started taking folic acid from the pharmacy and from my quick Google search was happy that was all I needed to do.

Little did I know that Steve had actually been planning to propose for a while but hadn’t found the right time.

About a month later he pulled the trigger and we got engaged!

After deciding to hold off trying for a baby until after the wedding, I had time to research more into preconception health.

I couldn’t believe what I found!

Not only was taking folic acid probably the wrong thing to do, but to be able to influence our baby’s health during this time was mind blowing.

It was too much of a big deal to keep it to myself so I decided then and there to help spread the word of the importance of preconception health.

About 5 years on and life looks very different. Better health and one healthy baby later, we are currently preparing for our next baby.

I beleive we all have the capability of healing our bodies and having a healthy baby.
